More Leather and Copper Work
On Merrymaid we had some upholsterers leather left, so we covered the brass handrail which was proving difficuilt to keep the finger marks off.
The blocks on Merrymaid's pin rail were given leather upstanders so as not to flop around.
One of the winch handles lives on the aft side of the mast.
The blocks at the mast base have upstanders with allowance for the stoppers.
Another winch handle is fixed in the cockpit.
Lulworth's fire axe get's it's own little jacket.
Copper cowls on Lulworth's mast
These cap rail protectors i stitched together for Lulworth and below, fun was had making rope handles to assist crew out of their bunks.
